Safety & Reliability
Wuva provides free servicing every 3 months and a comprehensive MOT either every 12 months or when a vehicle is transferred between our members. This is a door to door service and is undertaken at your convenience. Furthermore, if your vehicle is damaged we guarantee a fix or replacement within 72 hours. We do this to keep our vehicles in a safe and reliable condition at all times.
When comparing this with buying, unless you’re a professional mechanic, you’ll be paying at least £100-150 a year in maintenance costs plus the inconvenience of taking your vehicle in for servicing. We’ve found that people commonly skip these costs at the risk of an unsafe ride. Wuva is also here to help you with any tips or advice when it comes to staying safe on the road.
Cost-Effective
Good quality vehicles normally require a large up-front cost for a solution you may only require on a short to medium term basis. As mentioned above there are then costs to keep your vehicle in a safe and reliable condition, as well as further up-front payments when the vehicle inevitably requires repairs.
With increasing vehicle theft across London, the cost of replacing a stolen vehicle or purchasing insurance is another consideration when deciding to buy rather than subscribe.
Wuva is here to eliminate cost uncertainty and guarantee you a fixed, all-inclusive monthly fee per vehicle, as well as enable you to swap or cancel at any time after the one month minimum term to meet our members changing requirements. We also provide a discount for each additional vehicle subscription, which can all be managed within the Wuva membership portal. All of our vehicles are fully insured and protected against theft and damage. We will only charge our members where a vehicle has been neglected, purposely damaged or left unlocked or unsupervised.
Sustainability
We all know of bikes left in the shed unused for years or an impulsive purchase you’ve only used a handful of times. We are all guilty of it, but it has real world consequences of increased use of raw materials and energy resources in production. Raw material extraction has roughly doubled since 1990 and we all need to work together to reduce over consumption.
Wuva is addressing this problem in two ways:
- One month minimum terms mean that when our members no longer require use of the vehicle it is transferred to another member so that it is efficiently used during its lifespan.
- Regular maintenance and servicing extends the usable lifespan of vehicles, meaning less are required to be produced each year.
